LAST MINUTE: GRANTS

Thanks to a donation from a member of its Board of Trustees, the Foundation has 15 grants IQS 50% of tuition for the Master in Bioengineering for the 2010 edition.

The procedure to apply for scholarship at the General Secretariat of the IQS is as follows:
- Have the Letter of Admission to the Master.
- Perform pre-registration:
You must make a payment of 600 € (bank transfer to the account of La Caixa: 2100.0759.94.0200080049, specifying as the concept of transfer: Name MBIO Primer_Apellido) on account of the amount of tuition for the Master by way of acceptance of the plaza. Registration will take place in September.
- The granting of the scholarship will be for first-served basis and confirmed in writing to show your receipt of transfer payments proving the pre-registration.

Objectives

Advanced bioengineering studies that combine the knowledge and applications of scientific progress with business strategies in different sectors of biotechnology, designed to train élite researchers for leading companies and universities in Spain and in member countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The achievement of excellence and mastery of the biotechnological tools for research, development and production of products and services that use live organisms or their biological components, from a perspective applied to different industrial, food and biomedical production sectors

Aimed at

The Master's is aimed at graduates (degree holders, engineers or technical engineers) who wish to enhance their professional career or gear it to new biotechnologies. Holders of the Master's degree will be able to practice as high-level research and innovation professionals in industry or to continue their academic career with a subsequent doctorate.

Duration

Begins in October or in February of the academic course.

Cost

The price is €215/credit (course 2010/11).
